Java Software Engineer

Prodagio Software is seeking a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Java Software Engineer to join our Product Development team. As a Java Software Engineer you will play a central role in the design and development of the Prodagio suite of business products. We are looking for a candidate with passion for software development that strives in a multi-disciplinary team and fast paced environment.

Senior Business Analyst

Position Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting requirements, then creating and documenting solutions to client business problems/opportunities using Prodagio Software products and services. The Senior Business Analyst serves as an active member of the implementation team, performing process definition, requirements gathering, solution design/verification, and training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business requirements driving the implementation and ensure the delivered product addresses these requirements
  • Identify decision-making issues and key stakeholders, and work with the project team and internal management to develop and implement strategies to encourage and obtain stakeholder and/or user community awareness and support
  • Understand and be able to clearly communicate the client's business direction, including information needs, reporting requirements and business requirements
  • Understand and communicate with the internal staff client expectations and the early identification of project risks or impacts to overall project schedules
  • Work interactively to support project team to achieve client service expectations
  • Identify and manage Change Requests, control scope, manage change and resolve issues prior to escalating
  • Lead Requirements Workshops and prepare final Requirements deliverable
  • Manage creation and delivery of all project work products and deliverables
  • Through requirement elicitation and using industry experience and best practices, architect solutions to the clients' needs using Prodagio Software methodologies and tools
  • Gain an understanding of client needs through user interviews (on site and/or remote) and statement of work (SOW) review
  • Consult with clients to define, recommend, and document appropriate product and solution requirements

Professional Requirements:

  • PMP Certification Preferred but not required
  • Minimum 8 years experience in implementing and supporting technology solutions, gathering requirements, conducting client interviews and effective meetings, and providing value-add services preferably in corporate legal departments
  • Professional consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience implementing and integrating with ERP systems
  • Experience teaching and delivering end user training on technical solutions
  • Knowledge of Corporate Legal Departments
  • Knowledge of industry-standard Business Process Modeling tools Preferred

Project Manager

Description:

The Project Manager performs an overall management/coordinator role in the analysis, configuration, testing and implementation of the Prodágio Business Suite products. He/she has overall project management responsibilities and is responsible for the timely delivery of the configured product. The Project Manager is engaged throughout the entire product life cycle, starting with the initial phase of business development, project scope definition, and proposal generation, through requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, design documentation, and application delivery. The Project Manager serves as the primary client focal point from client engagement through product configuration and delivery.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Manages project phases, and/or entire projects, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting and monitoring focused on successfully implementing Prodágio Business Suite applications
  • Develop and manage project goals, work plans, timelines, implementation strategies, and evaluation methods
  • Primary contact and focal point for communication and coordination with the client and the project team on all project-specific issues
  • Understand the business requirements driving the implementation and ensure the delivered product addresses these requirements

Senior Systems Administrator

Position Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator will be responsible for maintaining the computing and networking environment at Prodagio Software. The Senior Systems Administrator works directly with the IT Director, and other staff to evaluate needs, and maintain availability of systems valued by the company.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • 5-7+ years of experience in systems administration with track record of success
  • Aggressive and decisive thinking combined with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in building Linux systems (CentOS, Debian) and open source technologies and platforms
  • Experience with cloud platforms (particularly EC2)
  • Experience with virtualized “cloud computing” hosting environment, Rackspace, Amazon Web Services (EC2, EBS, S3, RDS, SQS, SES, VPC, IAM, SNS), and content delivery networks (Akamai, Cloudfront, Kaltura)
  • Familiarity with distributed version control systems (CVS, Subversion)
  • Experience working with Virtual machines (VMWare, Xen, RedHat)
  • Experience with data center tasks, including rack and stack, cabinet design and basic understanding of power, space and cooling usage.
  • Experience with handling AWS based systems
  • Tomcat, JBoss, & Apache administration experience (monitoring, log rotation, configuration)
  • Experience with configuration management systems and concepts (Chef, Puppet, etc.)
  • Java application release mgmt (deploying application files, minimizing downtime, etc)
